Q: Who is Ahnsahnghong?
A: The World Mission Society Church of God believes Christ Ahnsahnghong is the Second Coming Jesus. This belief is based on the testimonies of the Bible.
In the book of Revelation, Jesus said He would come again but with a new name:
“‘The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the New Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.’”
Jesus explained that when He comes a second time, He will have a new name. Since He will be in human form and with a new name, the only way to recognize Second Coming Jesus is through the prophecies of the Bible.
“‘You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.’”
Only by studying the Bible can we recognize Second Coming Jesus and know His new name. Among the many deeds of Second Coming Christ, He is to remind us of all Jesus taught at His first coming (Jn 14:26) and to also restore the New Covenant Passover (Heb 9:28). Christ Ahnsahnghong accomplished this by reestablishing the New Covenant Passover and establishing the World Mission Society Church of God as the only church that keeps all the teachings of Jesus and the Early Church.
