Those who seek God and follow His commands gain true understanding, which His people cherish. As Psalm 111:10 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding.” The Bible shows that the only ones with true insight are the rest of the woman’s offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast to Jesus (Rev 12:17).

God came to give us understanding by restoring the law of Christ, guiding His people in His ways (Mic 4:1–2). Others cannot understand, even if they read the Bible, because they rely on human rules, not God’s wisdom. As Isaiah 29:11–14 warns, “The wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish” when hearts are far from God.
