Plastic use has become as natural as breathing. However, its excessive use and overproduction has taken a drastic toll on the health of the environment. So, on August 4, more than 115 volunteers hosted an ASEZ WAO Webster Avenue cleanup in Norwood, NY. NYS Assemblywoman Nathalia Fernandez, District Manager Ischia Brazo, and staff from Assemblywoman Karines Reyes’s office showed volunteers their support. The cleanup is a part of ASEZ WAO’s Reduce Plastic campaign that volunteers carry out worldwide.
ASEZ continued the worldwide “Mother’s Street” cleanup movement, this time collecting 30 bags of trash from Contant Park in Hillside, NJ.
