Plastic use has become as natural as breathing. However, its excessive use and overproduction has taken a drastic toll on the health of the environment. So, on August 4, more than 115 volunteers hosted an ASEZ WAO Webster Avenue cleanup in Norwood, NY. NYS Assemblywoman Nathalia Fernandez, District Manager Ischia Brazo, and staff from Assemblywoman Karines Reyes’s office showed volunteers their support. The cleanup is a part of ASEZ WAO’s Reduce Plastic campaign that volunteers carry out worldwide.
ASEZ university students held their Crime Prevention Forum at Hudson County Community College. Officials from local municipalities as well as HCCC faculty members spoke at the forum to encourage the further implementation of the volunteers’ “Reduce Crime Together” project.
