ASEZ volunteers regularly partner with the Borough of Elmwood Park to help their neighbors clean their lawns. They have partnered with Councilwoman Lorraine Pellegrine for the event. Students from Passaic County Community College, Bergen Community College, Rutgers University, Montclair State University and Farleigh Dickinson University came together. The purpose is to help their neighbors prepare for the winter season by cleaning their yards.

On September 16, 2019 ASEZ at the University of Pittsburgh held a DIY Reusable Bag event. Pitt students designed their own bags and learned about the effects of waste on the environment and its inhabitants.
On Sunday, July 11 ASEZ WAO volunteers held a paneling display in the city of Boston. The purpose was to raise awareness of the dangers of plastic waste and pollution.
