ASEZ volunteers regularly partner with the Borough of Elmwood Park to help their neighbors clean their lawns. They have partnered with Councilwoman Lorraine Pellegrine for the event. Students from Passaic County Community College, Bergen Community College, Rutgers University, Montclair State University and Farleigh Dickinson University came together. The purpose is to help their neighbors prepare for the winter season by cleaning their yards.

The Church of God held the Unity in the Community Blood Drive to spread awareness of the importance of donating blood.
ASEZ volunteers, joined by Eastside High School JROTC students and the local Paterson Green Team, removed 500 bags of trash from Roberto Clemente Park in Paterson, New Jersey.
