NYS Assemblywoman Latoya Joyner Joins Students for an ASEZ Graffiti Removal Project

ASEZ partnered with NYS Assemblywoman Latoya Joyner for a graffiti removal project in the Bronx. Students cleaned graffiti and picked up trash along Sedgewick Avenue, about a mile from the iconic Yankees’ stadium. Around 70 volunteers came together for the cause. The students were from Lehman College and Bronx Community College. In the end, they collected more than 50 bags of trash and painted a 400 square foot section. In addition, Assemblywoman Joyner thanked the volunteers for their effort and dedication to the community. “Thank you so much, you guys are very inspiring. I see the network of people that truly care,” she said.
