God the Mother and Eternal Life
Water is necessary for life. Without water, life cannot exist. God created it this way to help us understand a profound truth in the Bible: we also need the water of life to sustain our spiritual life. According to Jesus’ teachings, the water of life represents eternal life (Jn 4:14). And if we want to receive eternal life, we must go to the Spirit and the Bride.
“The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ … and whoever wishes, let them take the free gift of the water of life.”
Revelation 22:17
The Spirit and the Bride who give the water of life indicate the Holy Spirit (God the Father, according to the Trinity) and God the Mother. In this instance, the Bride does not refer to the church because only God can give us the water of life.
“‘They have forsaken me, the spring of living water.’ … declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.”
Jeremiah 2:13–19
“Jesus answered, ‘... but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.’”
John 4:13–14
The prophets, those who taught and followed God’s teachings, never proclaimed themselves as the ones who could give eternal life. Through this, we can understand that the Bride giving us eternal life is not referring to the church. Instead, the prophets let the world know about the source of the eternal life, the Savior, through the Scriptures. According to this consistent teaching of the Bible, the Bride who gives us eternal life in the last days is God the Mother.
“On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem …”
Zechariah 14:8
Jerusalem is our Heavenly Mother (Gal 4:26) and the source of the water of life. Those who seek eternal life from God must come to both God the Father and God the Mother, the Saviors in this age.
