The Atlanta City Council recognized the Church of God in Atlanta’s contribution to society through various community services with an official city proclamation.

The State of Georgia is known to be the home of diverse cities, each one with its own personality. Nicknamed the Peach State, the Church of God in Georgia is known for its warm hospitality, and serves residents with the heart of Christ.
Members have put together blood drives, cleanups and have participated in disaster relief efforts in surrounding states to help speed their recovery.
