The Church of God held a blood drive in partnership with Doctor’s Hospital in the Bahamas, bringing volunteers, donors, and medical staff together to help their community. Medical personnel registered, screened, and drew blood from nearly 20 donors. By the end of the day, over 19 units of blood had been collected, enough to save 57 lives.
The event attracted attention from local leaders, including Minister of Parliament Mr. Wayde Watson and Mr. Onassis Buress. They praised the dedication of Church members, encouraged volunteers and donors, and expressed interest in supporting future community projects.

Addressing a Critical Need
Blood donation is especially urgent in the Bahamas, where shortages in blood banks put patients at serious risk. This drive not only provided immediate help to those in need but also highlighted the importance of community participation in health initiatives.
Minister Wayde Watson commented, “I commend the Church of God for their outstanding efforts in organizing this blood drive. Their dedication to serving the community is truly inspiring, and we are grateful for their contributions.”
Volunteers, donors, and medical staff worked side by side to support patients, and set an example of care and commitment. In just a single day, the Church of God demonstrated how focused action and teamwork can directly save lives and build hope for the community.
