On the morning of Sunday, September 7, 2025, 70 volunteers gathered for an environmental cleanup at Balneario Punta Salinas in Toa Baja. The group tackled various sections of the beach, collecting trash and sorting it into categories such as general debris, vegetation, and plastic waste. Despite the scorching heat, the participants’ enthusiasm and dedication were evident, demonstrating a profound commitment to environmental stewardship and community well-being.

In total, volunteers collected over 1,200 pounds of trash, contributing directly to the conservation of Balneario Punta Salinas. This effort powerfully showed how collaboration and selfless service can create a lasting impact on both the natural environment and society. Local residents and visitors alike took notice, raising greater awareness about the importance of preserving Puerto Rico’s cherished coastlines.
